Meeting Minutes

Lew, Eric, Alex and Jeffrey are all indicated as being present.
We desperately need a new fundraising director. Stephanie steps down at end of year to move over to Scholarship and she will be winding down her efforts for fundraising once Ed Kopel's event is concluded. We need someone to step up to the plate. Alex will help to publicize our needs.
Scholarship has been approached by an interested outsider concerning a candidate. Mickey has referred another organization with candidates to us. Streetsquash.org -- a Harlem based youth organization. We have some concerns as how to manage inquiries from organizations directed to us by Mickey so this needs further discussion and evaluation.
Fundraising letters were delayed by envelope problems but will go out in January. In late February this will be followed up by mailings about the Spring Event.
Juliet and Rachel Jacobs were looking into holding similar fundraisers on the same night.
A post card design was needed by Feb 1 for the Spring Event. Alex doesn't have the program needed for this. We will see if Jackie can come to the rescue.
We are starting to promote our really excellent Winter Spring 2005 newsletter, 8 pages. Content is great. Can we get it posted on the website ??
We need a newsletter for the Summer 2005. That means we need a Newsletter Director. This is a problem we need to address.
Discussed at length Nicole's progress (substantial) with the CIT reunion, which now has close to 20 confirmed.
