No Phone Hook-Up

Stuffing newsletters and invitations for 275 names from 1980's alumni, including those identified by BRASS

Get Together at Ed Kopel's on May 15th. 7PM

Database is in beta testing
FoBR sent a wedding card to Juliet Ross
Jackie arrived with new newsletters
Jasmine's sister-in-law might be able to help Noah with website.

Three Mailings to be done over the next four- five weeks -- first Brass, then more invitations then a general fundraising mailing.

Stephanie has identified three foundations that might be interested in funding scholarships. But applications to them all had a spring deadline which we cannot meet in 2004. We need to apply in 2005... this will require we find a volunteer to do our grant writing.

On scholarship front, Charlie is still in process of contacting our two recipients from last year to see if they will be going back. We are planning to send 2 new people this summer, and would also be able to return last year's people. 92nd Street Y has one candidate ready for us. Our support and mentoring network can only support adding two new people this year, even if we had funds to send more. We badly need a volunteer to assume Scholarship Director
position. We explained a good bit of this for the benefit of Ed and Jasmine.

We need to get the Seeger interview and the cartoon onto the website as soon as possible. Of course, the eventual goal is to get the whole newsletter on the site.

We briefly discussed entertainment for the event at the Kopels and Alex's blog on
the website that impressed him with its razzle dazzle alumni fundraiser.
